Here are answers to some common questions.
Harmony is a non-profit providing lessons in the arts to our community. Those under 18 get to learn how to play various instruments for free, as well as various mediums of art. All we ask in exchange is to give back to the community by volunteering their time.
P.I.F stands for Pay-It-Forward. Through this method – every student is required to give one hour of community service for each hour of lesson received. Harmony is strictly dependent on volunteers to run our facilities. There are numerous volunteer opportunities to sign up for here.
There is no financial cost – all we ask is for your time! We do appreciate donations to give us the means to keep the door open.
We currently offer lessons in guitar, ukulele, keyboards, choir lessons.
With more volunteer support, we are hoping to offer lessons in many other instruments in the future.
Once our students have reached an adequate level of instruction we give them the opportunity to perform at various concerts. Be it at local concerts or even competitions, these appearances give our students a goal, motivation and target to reach.
The age for our lessons are for youth ages 12 - 18
